*Position:* Automation Technician – Mechanical
*Location:* Cochin
*Experience:* 1–5 Years of relevant experience in *Machine Building / Industrial Automation / Automation Assembly / Machine Commissioning / Prototyping*. Experience in *high-speed connector assembly machines, rotary indexing machines, pick-and-place systems,* or automated production lines will be highly preferred.
*Qualification:* Diploma / ITI in *Mechanical Engineering / Tool & Die Making / Mechatronics* or equivalent technical qualification.
*Salary:* Upto 5 LPA

*Key Requirements & Responsibilities*

* Assemble custom *automation machinery, pick-and-place units, indexing tables,* and complex mechanical linkages as per 3D models and assembly drawings.
* Perform *precision alignment, levelling, axis squaring,* and installation of linear guide rails, ball screws, servo tracks, and rotary mechanisms.
* Install and route *pneumatic systems*,



including valve manifolds, FRLs, cylinders, vacuum ejectors, and sensors as per pneumatic schematics.
* Identify and resolve *mechanical interferences, binding points, fitment issues,* and tolerance-related problems during machine assembly and debugging.
* Set up and fine-tune *mechanical nests, guide tracks, feeding bowls,* and pick-and-place grippers for different product variants.
* Conduct *dry runs, manual cycle testing,* and machine trials to verify mechanical timing and synchronization.
* Support *machine prove-out, FAT/SAT,* and cycle-time optimization by identifying bottlenecks and minimizing part jamming.
* Assist electrical and vision teams with *sensor, camera, lighting,* and precision bracket mounting.
