POSITION SUMMARY:

- We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Dev Ops Engineer to design, implement, and maintain modern Dev Ops practices across development and operations teams. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and managing Git Hub pipelines, automating software delivery processes, integrating development tools such as JIRA and Git Hub, and improving overall engineering productivity through automation and CI/CD best practices.

- The role requires robust expertise in Git Hub Actions, Infrastructure Automation, Release Management, and Agile delivery models while collaborating closely with Development, QA, Product Management, and Infrastructure teams

JOB FUNCTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

CI/CD Pipeline Development

- Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Git Hub Actions.

- Automate application build, test, deployment, and release processes.

- Implement branch protection, code quality gates, and deployment approvals.

- Optimize software delivery pipelines for speed, reliability, and security.

- Configure and maintain JIRA-Git Hub integrations.





- Implement traceability between user stories, commits, pull requests, and deployments.

- Automate status transitions and workflow updates based on Git Hub activities.

- Develop dashboards and reporting for Agile delivery metrics.

- Work closely with developers, testers, project managers, and product owners.

- Drive Dev Ops best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.

- Participate in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Reviews, and Retrospectives.

- Document Dev Ops processes, standards, and operational procedures.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

- + years of experience in Git Hub Actions, Git Hub Enterprise, Jenkins, YAML Pipeline Development, Workflow Automation, Python scripting

- JIRA Administration, AWS/Azure, Docker ,Kubernetes

- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Cloud Formation)

- Secrets Management

- Vulnerability Scanning

- Secure CI/CD Practices

- Access Management & SSO Integration.
