Location: Solapur, Maharashtra

ROLE PURPOSE

Lead strategic and operational procurement to ensure timely availability of materials, consumables, tooling and services at the right quality, cost and delivery, while driving cost reduction and supplier performance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Manage procurement of raw materials, castings, forgings, tooling, consumables, spares and services.
- Ensure timely material availability aligned with production and inventory requirements.
- Drive cost reduction, VA/VE, price benchmarking and commercial negotiations.
- Develop, evaluate and manage suppliers for quality, cost, delivery and capacity.
- Negotiate price, payment terms, lead time, MOQ and commercial conditions.
- Develop alternate sources and reduce single-source / supply risks.
- Monitor supplier delivery, quality,



shortages and corrective actions.
- Work closely with PPC, Production, Quality, Stores, Engineering, Finance and Maintenance.
- Optimise inventory, purchase lead time and working capital.
- Ensure compliance with approved purchase policies, delegation limits and vendor governance.
- Maintain procurement MIS covering open POs, savings, price variance, supplier performance and shortages.
- Drive supplier development, localisation and continuous improvement initiatives.
