Osition Summary The Area Credit Head will be responsible for leading the credit underwriting and portfolio quality function for Secured Lending products across the assigned geography. The role will drive prudent credit decision-making while enabling business growth across Home Loans, Loan Against Property (LAP), Mortgage LAP (MLAP), and Secured Term Loans. The incumbent will oversee credit appraisal, risk assessment, policy adherence, portfolio monitoring, team management, and stakeholder engagement to ensure sustainable growth and superior asset quality.

Key ResponsibilitiesCredit Underwriting & Risk Assessment

- Lead underwriting and sanctioning of secured lending proposals within delegated authority.
- Evaluate borrower repayment capacity, financial statements, banking behavior,



cash flows, and collateral quality.
- Review high-value and complex credit proposals and provide recommendation to higher authorities.
- Ensure robust risk assessment while balancing business growth objectives.

Portfolio Quality Management

- Maintain portfolio quality and monitor delinquency trends.
- Drive early-warning signal identification and risk mitigation measures.
- Analyze credit performance, bounce trends, NPA indicators, and portfolio health metrics.
- Recommend corrective actions to improve asset quality.
