Role Description This is a full time, on-site Collection Agent role based in Kottakkal.

The Collection

Agent is responsible for contacting customers regarding overdue payments, explaining account status, and negotiating structured repayment plans while adhering to company policies and regulatory guidelines. The role includes performing cash collections, updating payment information in internal systems, and coordinating with the finance team to reconcile accounts.

Agent will also address customer queries, provide courteous and explicit communication, and aim to resolve issues promptly to improve payment recovery and customer satisfaction.



Regular reporting on collection status, adherence to daily targets, and collaboration with branch staff are key aspects of the role.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Debt Collection and Cash Collection, with the ability to manage overdue accounts and meet collection targets.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with customers and build professional relationships.
- Candidates should possess basic to intermediate Finance knowledge to understand loan products, account statements, and reconciliation processes.
- Candidates should possess good negotiation, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills to manage challenging conversations and secure payment commitments.
- Relevant experience in collections, banking, or NBFC operations is preferred; familiarity with local market and languages in Kottakkal is an advantage.
- Minimum educational qualification: High school diploma or graduate degree in commerce, finance, or related fields is beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site, handle field visits if required, and use digital tools or collection software for tracking and reporting.
