Role Description The Construction Supervisor is a full-time, in office role based in Chennai, responsible for overseeing day-to-day construction activities on project sites. This role involves planning and supervising site operations, coordinating with project managers, engineers, contractors, and workers to ensure work is carried out according to design specifications, schedules, and budget.

The Construction

Supervisor conducts regular site inspections, monitors work quality, enforces construction safety standards,



and ensures compliance with company and regulatory requirements. The role also includes managing site documentation, reporting progress, addressing technical and operational issues, and supporting continuous improvement in construction processes. The supervisor will foster effective communication among all stakeholders to ensure timely project delivery and alignment with client expectations.

Qualifications

- Strong Supervisory Skills with proven experience in Site Supervision on construction or industrial projects.
- Proficiency in Inspection activities, including monitoring work quality, verifying compliance with drawings, standards, and specifications.
- Sound knowledge of Construction Safety practices and HSE regulations, with the ability to enforce safe work procedures on site.
- Effective Communication skills for coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and clients, and preparing clear site reports.
- Relevant technical background, such as a diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Experience in EPCC or oil & gas, petrochemical, marine, or industrial construction projects is an advantage.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and project documentation.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and capability to work in demanding site environments.
