Company Description PYAAS is a DPIIT-recognized, FSSAI-licensed dairy startup that brings full transparency to India’s milk supply chain through farm-level traceability. Every PYAAS pack carries a QR code that lets customers see the farms involved, the farmer’s name, milk composition, adulteration checks, and time of milking and chilling. The company currently sources milk from family farms in Gonda, Uttar Pradesh, and serves homes in Lucknow with single farm and family farm milk, small-batch Bilona cow ghee, and doorstep Parag dairy delivery.

All services run on the PYAAS mobile app for Android and iOS, supported by the PYAAS Digital Agent Network (P-DAN) of local milk agents and shop owners. PYAAS connects dairy brands and farmers directly to urban buyers, giving consumers trustworthy records and farmers fair, test-based pricing.

Role Description The Senior Software Engineering Manager will lead and grow engineering teams responsible for building and scaling the PYAAS platform across mobile and backend services. This full time hybrid role is based in Noida, with a mix of on-site collaboration and some work-from-home flexibility. Day-to-day responsibilities include guiding architecture and design decisions, overseeing end-to-end software development for new features, and ensuring reliability and performance of distributed systems that power traceability, logistics, payments, and customer experiences.





The person in this role will coordinate cross-functionally with product, operations, and data teams, manage project roadmaps and delivery timelines, and establish engineering best practices, code quality standards, and documentation. They will mentor engineers, support career development, and foster a culture of ownership, experimentation, and continuous improvement aligned with PYAAS’s mission.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in software development and software design, with experience delivering production-grade systems and services.
- Demonstrated team leadership capabilities, including mentoring engineers, managing performance, and building high-performing, inclusive teams.
- Hands-on project management experience, such as planning, prioritization, stakeholder communication, and risk management in engineering projects.
- Practical experience with distributed systems, including scalability, fault tolerance, data consistency, and cloud-native architectures.
- Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages (e.g., Java, Kotlin, Go, Python, or similar) and familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Experience with mobile and/or web platforms, relational and NoSQL databases, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setup in Noida, collaborating closely with onsite and remote team members.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
