Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Solar Consultant role based in Lucknow.

The Solar

Consultant will identify and engage potential customers, conduct site visits, and assess energy requirements to recommend appropriate rooftop solar solutions.

Responsibilities include explaining technical and financial benefits of solar power, preparing proposals, supporting lead conversion, and coordinating with the engineering and installation teams to ensure smooth project execution. The role involves providing ongoing customer support, addressing queries, and maintaining strong relationships throughout the sales and installation lifecycle.

Consultant is expected to maintain accurate records of leads, meetings, and sales activities, and contribute to local market development initiatives.

Qualifications

- Knowledge of the Solar Industry and understanding of Solar Power solutions and rooftop systems.
- Ability to perform Lead Generation, including prospecting, outreach, and follow-up activities.
- Strong Communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in transparent, simple language.
- Customer Service skills to manage inquiries, resolve concerns, and build long-term client relationships.
- Basic technical aptitude to interpret site conditions, energy consumption data, and system sizing requirements.
- Comfortable working on-site, traveling within Lucknow and nearby areas for client meetings and site assessments.
- Prior experience in solar sales, energy solutions, or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to work independently, meet targets, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in using productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentation software, CRM systems).
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, engineering, environmental sciences, or a related discipline.
