Chief of Lab - Tashkent Uzbekistan

Dr Lal PathLabs Ltd, Indias leading diagnostic service provider is expanding internationally. To build a leading diagnostics service brand in Uzbekistan we are looking for a post graduate Pathologist who can be based out of Tashkent, Uzbekistan as a Chief of Laboratory. Indian national doctors who have studied in Russia or CIS countries, with fluency in English, hindi and Russian with 2-5 yrs of experience and willing to relocate are invited to apply for this job.

The Chief of Lab will be responsible for the overall technical and operational management of the laboratory, ensuring high standards of quality, accuracy, turnaround time, patient safety, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency. The role will also involve building and developing the laboratory team, strengthening quality systems and driving continuous improvement in laboratory services.

Key Responsibilities

1. Laboratory Operations : Lead end-to-end laboratory operations across assigned departments and ensure smooth day-to-day functioning. Ensure timely processing, testing, validation and release of laboratory reports.
2. Quality & Accreditation :



Ensure compliance with applicable local regulatory requirements and organizational quality standards. Ensure adherence to SOPs, work instructions, biosafety and infection-control requirements.
3. Technical & Clinical Governance : Provide technical leadership for laboratory testing and reporting processes. Ensure appropriate validation, verification and implementation of recent tests, methodologies and equipment.
4. People Leadership & Capability Building : Lead, mentor and develop laboratory professionals and support staff.
5. Equipment, Reagents & Inventory : Monitor reagent and consumable availability and minimize stock-outs, wastage and expiry.
6. Stakeholder Management : Work closely with Business, Medical, Quality, Operations, HR, Procurement and Finance teams. Coordinate with local regulatory bodies, auditors, vendors and other external stakeholders, as required.
