Job Title: Battery Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Battery Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, testing, maintaining, and repairing batteries and battery systems for various applications, including industrial, automotive, and renewable energy systems.

Responsibilities:

1. Inspect and test batteries and battery systems to identify faults and defects.

2. Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, charging, and replacing batteries.

3. Diagnose and repair battery-related issues, including faults with chargers, alternators, and electrical systems.

4. Replace batteries and battery components, such as cells, modules, and packs.

5. Conduct performance tests to ensure batteries are functioning within specified parameters.

6. Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance, and repairs.

Identify and report any safety hazards or concerns.

8. Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to resolve complex issues.

9. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and current technologies.

Requirements:

1. Diploma or degree in electrical engineering or a related field.

2. 1-3 years of experience in battery maintenance and repair.

3. Strong knowledge of electrical systems and battery technologies.

4. Ability to troubleshoot and repair complex battery systems.

5. Good communication and problem-solving skills.

6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
