Role Description This full-time, on-site Junior Engineer role is based in Siliguri. The Junior Engineer will support senior engineers in planning, designing, and executing engineering projects across rail, industrial, and sustainability domains. Daily responsibilities include assisting with technical drawings, documentation, and compliance checks, as well as conducting site visits and coordinating with cross-functional teams. The role involves data collection, basic analysis, and preparation of reports to ensure projects meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards.



The Junior Engineer will also help implement sustainable solutions and participate in project reviews and continuous improvement activities.
Qualifications

- Strong foundation in engineering principles and the ability to assist with design, calculations, and technical documentation.
- Basic proficiency in CAD or similar design tools and familiarity with engineering standards and safety regulations.
- Ability to conduct field inspections, gather technical data, and support installation, testing, and maintenance activities.
- Interest in sustainability solutions such as solar power, water management, and energy efficiency, with willingness to learn sector-specific practices.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with senior engineers, clients, and on-site personnel.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and capacity to follow structured processes and compliance requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or a related engineering discipline.
- Willingness to work in office in Siliguri and travel to project locations as needed; prior internship or project experience in rail, industrial, or infrastructure domains is an advantage.
