Role Description This is a full time remote role for a PHP Developer supporting India’s Future Investors digital platforms. The PHP Developer will build, maintain, and optimize back-end services and APIs that power the show’s web applications and interactive features.

Responsibilities include writing clean, secure, and efficient PHP code, integrating front-end components, managing databases, and ensuring high performance and scalability. The role also involves troubleshooting technical issues, collaborating with designers and producers to implement new features, and participating in code reviews and continuous improvement of the platform.



The PHP Developer will work closely with the broader technical and creative teams to deliver a seamless digital experience for participants and viewers.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Back-End Web Development skills, including PHP, server-side frameworks, and database integration.
- Candidates should possess solid Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) skills to design modular, reusable, and maintainable code structures.
- Candidates should possess Front-End Development skills to collaborate effectively on UI implementation and integrate APIs with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Candidates should possess robust Software Development and Programming skills, including debugging, testing, and version control (e.g., Git).
- Experience with relational databases (MySQL or similar) and RESTful API development is highly beneficial.
- Familiarity with performance optimization, security best practices, and deployment in cloud or hosting environments is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to work independently in a remote, collaborative environment are essential.
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is advantageous.
