Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Junior Software Engineer supporting India’s Future Investors digital platforms and internal tools.

The Junior Software

Engineer will help design, develop, test, and maintain back-end services and APIs that power user interactions, content delivery, and participation workflows. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing new features, fixing bugs, writing clean and maintainable code, and collaborating with senior engineers, product, and design teams. The role also involves participating in code reviews, improving performance and reliability,



and contributing to documentation and technical best practices.

As part of a growing technology team, the Junior Software Engineer will support scalable solutions that enhance the audience and participant experience for the show.

Qualifications

- Solid foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and fundamental software engineering concepts.
- Skills in Software Development and Programming, with experience in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, C#).
- Knowledge of Back-End Web Development, including APIs, databases, and server-side frameworks.
- Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and ability to apply them to real-world projects.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
- Ability to learn quickly, follow coding standards, and work effectively in a remote, cross-functional team environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to writing reliable, testable code.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with cloud platforms, basic DevOps practices, or front-end technologies is a plus.
