KUP built its name on great coffee. The next chapter is food, and we want a chef who'll make our menu as talked-about as our cups.

KUP Coffee Roasters started in January 2023. We now run two big cafés and a few small outlets. We're looking for one senior chef to own all the food across the cafés: the menu, the kitchens, the chefs and the numbers.

Compensation: ₹1,00,000 per month. Relocation support available.

What you'll own

- Building a proper breakfast and lunch menu, not just snacks to go with coffee
- Creating two or three hero dishes people come back for
- Bringing all our food under one clear KUP identity
- Setting up food costing, wastage control and recipe standards from scratch
- Keeping quality and consistency the same across every outlet, and leading and training the kitchen teams
- Reading the Chennai market: familiar classics, done better,

Who we want

- 5+ years in independent or specialty cafés, with experience in Mumbai or Bangalore a robust plus
- Proof that you've launched café dishes that became repeat orders
- Experience running more than one kitchen or outlet
- Please don't apply if your background is mainly five-star hotels or fine dining. This is café food.
