Hiring: Desktop Application Support Manager (PLM/ALM)

Locations: Hyderabad | Bangalore | Pune Experience: 6+ Years

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Desktop Application Support Manager to oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of enterprise desktop applications across the organization. This role is critical in ensuring governance, operational excellence, compliance, and continuous improvement across the application portfolio.

You will act as a key bridge between business stakeholders, IT teams, vendors, and technical experts, ensuring seamless service delivery aligned with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

1. Portfolio Governance & Strategy

- Manage the complete desktop application portfolio (100+ applications)
- Define and implement governance for onboarding, lifecycle management, and retirement
- Evaluate risks, dependencies, and business impact for prioritization
- Align application strategy with business and IT objectives





2. Service Delivery & Operations

- Ensure high-quality application support and performance
- Drive incident, problem, and change management processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for issue resolution
- Monitor SLAs, KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives

Technical Skills

- Robust knowledge of PLM & ALM (Mandatory)
- Expertise in Engineering Applications (CAD, Simulation/SIM)
- Experience with RDE application lifecycle management
- Familiarity with Windows & macOS environments
- Hands-on experience with ITSM tools (ServiceNow)
- Knowledge of license management & compliance frameworks
- Exposure to Power BI, Automation tools, RPA (UiPath/Power Automate) is a plus
