Location:
Bengaluru, Karnataka ? Work model: Hybrid ⏳ Duration: 3 months ? Stipend: ₹15,000 per month ? Employment: Internship About Foundlogue ✍️ Foundlogue is a new-age editorial platform dedicated to documenting the journeys behind founders and the brands they build. Our focus is not startup news, funding announcements or generic company profiles. We want to tell the story that comes before the success — where founders came from, what shaped them, how the idea originated, how they started from zero, the early struggles, first customers, failures, turning points and the journey through which an idea became a company. Our belief is simple: Every founder has a prologue. We are building our editorial team and are looking for an Editorial Intern – Founder Stories based in Bengaluru. ?️ What you’ll do You’ll work closely with the editorial team and contribute to the complete journey of developing a Foundlogue story — from research and interview preparation to writing, fact-checking and publication. Your responsibilities will include: ✔ Research founders, companies, industries and relevant background material before interviews. ✔ Study previous interviews, public profiles, company milestones and available source material to identify gaps and interesting story angles. ✔ Prepare founder briefing notes and thoughtful interview questions. ✔ Participate in founder interviews and gradually take ownership of conducting parts of the conversation. ✔ Work with interview recordings, transcripts, notes and supporting documents. ✔ Identify the strongest moments, turning points, struggles, decisions and insights from founder conversations. ✔ Assist in developing long-form founder profiles and feature stories. ✔ Write and refine sections of stories, headlines, introductions, summaries and supporting editorial copy. ✔ Fact-check names, dates, quotations, milestones, claims and other information before publication. ✔ Assist with copy editing, proofreading and maintaining consistency in Foundlogue’s editorial style.

✔ Help organise founder timelines and inputs for Founder Roadmaps and other visual editorial formats. ✔ Support podcast and video interview research, briefing and editorial preparation. ✔ Maintain research notes, interview records, editorial trackers and story documentation. ✔ Contribute ideas for founders, story angles, recurring editorial formats and future features. ✔ Use AI-assisted tools responsibly for transcription, research organisation, outlining and editorial support while applying human judgment at every stage. ? Who we’re looking for We’d like to meet someone who is genuinely curious about people, businesses and the stories behind how things get built. You could be currently pursuing or recently graduated in: ✅ Journalism ✅ Mass Communication ✅ Media Studies ✅ Communication Studies ✅ English Literature / English ✅ Creative Writing ✅ Business / Economics / Commerce — if you have robust research and writing skills Your degree alone will not determine the fit. We care more about whether you can research deeply, listen carefully, ask meaningful questions and identify a compelling story within a conversation. You should ideally have: ✅ Excellent written and spoken English. ✅ Strong research and writing skills. ✅ A genuine interest in journalism, editorial storytelling and long-form features. ✅ Curiosity about founders, entrepreneurship, brands and businesses. ✅ Ability to prepare thoughtful questions rather than relying on generic interview templates. ✅ Good listening skills and the confidence to ask follow-up questions. ✅ Strong fact-checking and attention to detail. ✅ An understanding of the difference between editorial storytelling and promotional content. ✅ Ability to organise research, notes and multiple story assignments.

✅ Comfort communicating professionally with founders and senior professionals. ✅ Ability to work independently while taking editorial feedback positively. ✅ Responsible use of AI tools without compromising originality, accuracy or editorial judgment. Previous experience with a college publication, newsroom, magazine, blog, podcast, research project or editorial internship is an advantage, but not mandatory. ❌ What we are NOT looking for This is not an SEO-blog-writing or social-media-only internship. We are not looking for someone whose approach is simply: Topic → AI-generated article → publish. Foundlogue is built around original research, founder conversations and human storytelling. AI can support the editorial process, but the curiosity, questions, judgment, verification and storytelling must come from you. ? What you’ll get to learn & build You’ll be joining Foundlogue at an early stage, which means you’ll get exposure to much more than writing assignments. You’ll have the opportunity to work on: ✅ Founder research ✅ Interview preparation ✅ Founder conversations ✅ Long-form feature writing ✅ Fact-checking and editorial verification ✅ Copy editing and proofreading ✅ Founder Roadmaps ✅ Podcast and video research ✅ Editorial planning and story development ✅ AI-assisted newsroom workflows ✅ Building the editorial standards of an emerging publication You’ll also get the opportunity to interact directly with founders and entrepreneurs and understand the decisions, struggles and experiences behind building companies. Strong performers may have the opportunity to take on greater editorial ownership and explore longer-term roles with Foundlogue. ? Work arrangement This is a 3-month, full-time hybrid internship based in Bengaluru with a stipend of ₹15,000 per month.
• Candidates should be based in Bengaluru or willing to relocate and should be comfortable attending in-person editorial meetings, founder interviews, recordings and other sessions when required.
