Role Purpose

The Remote Integration Engineer is responsible for end-to-end remote integration support for radio network sites across 2G, 3G, 4G and 5G technologies. The role covers site readiness validation, SIF generation, script execution, software and licence loading, remote support during field testing, customer acceptance preparation, log collection, and technical troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform site backup and pre-check activities before integration, including dgck, kget and CV backup.
- Collect and validate pre-integration logs covering cell and alarm status, VSWR, fibre loss, RSSI/RTWP/diversity, RET status, software version, latest CV and the existing node password.
- Generate the Site Integration File (SIF) after receipt of scripts from the database team, and share the SIF with the field engineer to enable commissioning and remote connectivity.
- Execute integration scripts supplied in .mos and .xml formats, monitor execution, and support resolution of integration errors.
- Upgrade the site to the target software level available in ENM and upload the required Licence Key File (LKF).
- Coordinate with the field engineer during call testing and speed testing for all newly introduced layers, and ensure that supporting screenshots are collected.
- Prepare and propose site acceptance to the customer with supporting evidence,



including call-test and speed-test results, VSWR and fibre-loss details.
- Perform automated pre/post comparison and log collection activities.
- Support Site Controller Unit activities, including RP6610 integration and LKF loading.

Technical Support and Ad Hoc Scope

- RSSI troubleshooting; VSWR and fibre-loss troubleshooting; RET/TMA troubleshooting.
- Service-affecting alarm troubleshooting and SCU alarm testing without integration.
- NCU port forwarding and NCU alarm troubleshooting.
- IXRe cutover support for router upgrades.
- LTE and 5G software upgrades.
- Call-drop, low-traffic and KPI issue investigation.
- IWK parameter tuning, health-check requests, Ready to Transmit reports and 48-hour reports.

- Knowledge of site software upgrades, licence loading, backups and restoration controls.
- Robust coordination skills for working with database, field and customer teams during commissioning, testing and acceptance.
