Job Description: Consultant Operations Excellence / Business Process Reengineering (BPR)

1. Role Overview

The Consultant serves as the execution layer of client engagements, responsible for conducting analyses, developing solutions, supporting implementation, and ensuring disciplined execution of project workstreams. The role involves working closely with client functional teams to identify improvement opportunities, redesign processes, and drive operational efficiency through data-driven decision-making and digital enablement.

2. Key Roles and Responsibilities

- Conduct diagnostic assessments to identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for operational improvement.
- Perform data-driven analyses to support problem-solving, root cause analysis (RCA), and business decision-making.
- Support Business Process Reengineering (BPR), process redesign, and implementation initiatives.
- Develop process maps, value stream maps, and workflow documentation to identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
- Support productivity improvement, operational excellence, manufacturing excellence, and supply chain optimisation initiatives.
- Assist in digital transformation, process automation, and Generative AI (GenAI) enablement initiatives.
- Develop client-ready deliverables, including analytical reports, presentations, dashboards, and recommendations.
- Coordinate with client functional teams to drive project execution and implementation activities.
- Maintain action trackers, status reports, project documentation, and PMO deliverables.
- Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies to enhance process efficiency.
- Leverage advanced Excel, Power BI, and other analytical tools to generate insights and monitor performance.
- Support change management activities and develop an understanding of business requirements and operating models.

3. Experience Requirements

- Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience preferred.
- Experience in sales is preferred, as specified in the role requirements.




- Experience in management consulting, operations excellence, manufacturing excellence, supply chain, industrial engineering, or digital transformation is desirable.
- Candidates with exposure to manufacturing environments, shop-floor operations, or business consulting will be preferred.

4. Educational Qualifications

- Mandatory: B.Tech/B.E. in a core engineering specialisation, such as Mechanical, Electronics, Production, Metallurgy, Instrumentation, or a related engineering discipline.
- Preferred: MBA/PGP in Operations, Supply Chain, Analytics, Manufacturing, or a related discipline.
