Position Overview :-

We are looking for a technically solid, hands-on ServiceNow Solution Architect who can independently design, govern, and deliver scalable ServiceNow solutions across enterprise customers. The architect will be responsible for translating business requirements into robust technical solutions, guiding development teams, enforcing ServiceNow best practices, and ensuring successful implementation with minimal customization and technical debt. This is not merely a supervisory or advisory role. The candidate must demonstrate strong technical ownership and be capable of resolving complex implementation challenges independently.

Key Responsibilities :-

1. Solution Architecture & Design

- Own end-to-end technical architecture for ServiceNow implementations.
- Translate BRDs, functional requirements, and SOW commitments into solution architecture and technical design documents.
- Design scalable, secure, maintainable solutions using ServiceNow out-of-the-box capabilities wherever possible.
- Define architecture standards, integration patterns, data models, and development guidelines.
- Conduct solution design reviews and ensure alignment with ServiceNow recommended practices.

2. Technical Leadership & Delivery Governance

- Provide technical guidance to Team Leads, Module Leads, and developers across multiple projects.
- Review complex configurations, customizations, scripts, workflows, and integrations.
- Conduct technical design and code reviews, identifying risks before deployment.




- Ensure adherence to update set governance, release management, and deployment standards.
- Work closely with Business Transformation Consultants, QA, Project Managers, and Delivery Assurance to prevent gaps between agreed scope and actual delivery.
- Identify and resolve technical blockers proactively.

3. ServiceNow Platform Expertise

Mandatory expertise: -

- ITSM: Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge, and Service Catalog.
- Robust understanding of CMDB, CSDM, and platform data architecture.
- Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, ACLs, and Glide APIs.
- REST/SOAP integrations, MID Server, authentication mechanisms, and third-party integrations.
- ServiceNow security, performance optimization, upgrade readiness, and platform governance.
- Experience working with scoped applications and enterprise-scale implementations.

Preferred additional expertise: -

- ITOM: Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management.
- ITAM: HAM/SAM.
- CSM, HRSD, or SPM.
- ServiceNow AI capabilities, Now Assist, Virtual Agent, and intelligent automation.
- App Engine and custom application development.

4. Client Engagement & Solution Consulting

- Participate in technical discovery workshops and architecture discussions with enterprise customers.
- Work with pre-sales teams on solution feasibility, technical estimations, and architecture proposals.
- Identify gaps between business expectations, product capabilities, and implementation scope.
- Clearly articulate technical decisions, risks, dependencies, and alternative solutions to customers.
- Support change request assessments and effort estimations.
- Maintain clear communication through designated client-facing governance channels.

5. Quality, Security & Architecture Assurance

- Ensure solutions are technically validated before QA and production deployment.




- Collaborate with QA to improve testability, automated testing, and defect prevention.
- Review integration security, role-based access, and data protection considerations.
- Minimize technical debt and unnecessary customizations.
- Support complex production issues, root cause analysis, and preventive improvements.

Mandatory Qualifications :-

- Minimum 5 to 7 years of hands-on ServiceNow implementation experience.
- Experience architecting at least 3 end-to-end ServiceNow implementations, with clear ownership of solution design.
- Strong JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting capabilities.
- Demonstrated experience designing complex integrations.
- Ability to independently troubleshoot complex platform and architectural issues.
- Strong communication skills and experience working directly with enterprise customers.
- Ability to mentor developers and guide multiple delivery teams.

Certifications :-

- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) - Mandatory.
- Certified Application Developer (CAD) - Strongly preferred.
- Relevant CIS certification (ITSM/ITOM/CSM or others) - Strongly preferred.
- Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or Certified Master Architect (CMA) - Advantage, not mandatory.
