Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager to lead the Record-to-Report (R2R) function for the Life & Annuity (L&A;) insurance businessensuring accurate financial reportingtimely closingregulatory complianceand continuous process improvement.
Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
Coordinate with actuarialunderwriting and claims teams.
Lead the team and report performance to senior management.
Lead end-to-end R2R operations for the insurance business.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Commerce or a related field; CA/CPA preferred.
10 years of experience in Insurance Finance & Accounting is mandatory.
Solid knowledge of R2R month-end closing and journal entries.
Experience in Life & Annuity (L&A;) insurance accounting is preferred.
Knowledge of IFRS 17 local GAAP and regulatory compliance.
Proficiency in SAP/Oracle and advanced MS Excel.
Robust team leadership analytical and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to meet deadlines and ensure accurate financial reporting.
Significant Requirement
This is a specialized Insurance F&A; GL leadership position not a general GL accounting role. Candidates must have relevant L&A; insurance accounting exposure in addition to GL/RTR expertise.
