We are seeking a Senior Automation Test Engineer with 8 years of experience in UI Automation Testing for web applications to join our team. This role involves designing developing and maintaining scalable automation frameworks and collaborating closely with developers product managers and QA teams in an Agile workplace.
Key responsibilities
Design develop and maintain UI automation frameworks.
Automate smoke regression sanity and functional test suites.
Collaborate with Developers Product Managers and QA teams in an Agile workplace.
Participate in Sprint Planning Backlog Refinement Daily Stand-ups Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives.
Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines and analyze automation failures.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to automation best practices.
Required qualifications
8 years of experience in UI Automation Testing for web applications.
Proficiency with Selenium WebDriver and/or Playwright.
Solid programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript Java or Python.
Experience with Page Object Model Hybrid Frameworks and Cucumber (BDD).
Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins GitHub Actions Azure DevOps or GitLab CI/CD.
Knowledge of Git Jira Confluence and test execution platforms (BrowserStack/Sauce Labs/LambdaTest).
Nice to have
Experience with Playwright and API automation.
Exposure to cloud-based applications and AI-assisted testing tools.
Strong debugging analytical and communication skills.
Experience mentoring team members and working in Agile Scrum teams.
