We are looking for a Junior Accountant to support our finance team with daytoday accounting tasks and maintain accurate financial records. The candidate will be responsible for recording transactions reconciling accounts and preparing basic financial reports under the guidance of senior staff.
Key responsibilities
Enter financial transactions into Tally and ensure accuracy.
Reconcile bank statements and ledger accounts on a regular basis.
Prepare and maintain general ledger entries and supporting documentation.
Assist in monthend closing activities and prepare closing schedules.
Generate basic financial reports for management review.
Maintain fixed asset register and track asset depreciation.
Support audit preparations by providing necessary documentation.
Required qualifications
Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field.
02 years of accounting experience.
Proficient in Tally with solid data entry skills.
Good understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Robust analytical and problemsolving abilities.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Nice to have
Experience with other accounting software such as QuickBooks.
Knowledge of GST and tax filing processes.
Basic Excel skills beyond the basics.
Previous experience in a manufacturing or logistics workplace.
