Role Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Release Engineering Leader to own and transform our end-to-end software delivery lifecycle across multiple products and teams. This role will build a standardized, scalable, and automated release platform using contemporary GitOps and DevOps practices, enabling teams to deliver software faster, more reliably, and with minimal friction.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role focused on platform building, automation, and organization-wide enablementnot release coordination.

Key Responsibilities
Define and implement GitOps practices and deployment strategies
Architect and standardize CI/CD pipelines across teams
Build reusable pipeline templates and shared workflows
Establish release processes, versioning standards, and deployment strategies
Implement progressive delivery models (blue-green, canary) and automated rollback mechanisms
Drive Infrastructure-as-Code adoption and automate environment provisioning
Design and enable ephemeral and on-demand environments
Integrate monitoring, logging, and alerting into the release lifecycle




Define and track SLIs/SLOs and implement release quality gates
Embed security practices into CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps)
Build self-service deployment platforms and developer “golden paths”
Partner with engineering teams to drive adoption of standardized practices
Provide training, documentation, and internal consulting
Continuously improve release efficiency, reliability, and developer experience

Required Qualifications
7+ years of experience in software engineering, DevOps, or release engineering
Proven experience building and scaling CI/CD platforms across multiple teams
Robust experience with GitOps methodologies and practices
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerized deployments
Strong expertise in CI/CD tools and pipeline architecture
Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools
Proficiency in scripting/programming (Python, Bash, or equivalent)
Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred)

Solid understanding of monitoring, logging, and observability
