Role & responsibilities
Lead procurement of solar EPC materials (modules, inverters, MMS, cables, transformers, BOS, civil & electrical items).
Develop procurement strategies, planning, and ensure timely availability of critical materials.
Manage vendor development, evaluation, onboarding, and performance review.
Handle RFQs, comparative analysis, vendor finalization, and high-value negotiations.
Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, warranties, and contracts.
Review and approve Purchase Orders (POs) as per budget and company policies.
Ensure coordination with Projects, Design, Finance, Quality, Warehouse, and Logistics teams.
Monitor project-wise procurement status and resolve supply-related issues.
Drive cost optimization, bulk procurement, and savings initiatives.
Lead and manage procurement team, ensuring performance and process adherence.
Ensure compliance with GST, contracts, company policies, and audit requirements.
Prepare MIS reports, track budgets, savings, vendor performance, and procurement KPIs.

Preferred candidate profile
B.E. / B.Tech (Electrical / Energy)
OR
MBA / PG Diploma in Supply Chain / Materials Management
