Job Summary

Airbus India Private Limited is seeking a highly motivated and analytical Data Science Intern to join our cutting-edge team. This internship offers a unique chance to gain practical experience in applying data science methodologies to real-world aerospace challenges, contributing to advanced projects that shape the future of aviation.

Ideally, this is a 6 months internship and it should start in January 2027

Job Responsibilities

As a Data Science Intern, you will be involved in various aspects of our data science initiatives, including but not limited to:
Assisting in the collection, cleaning, and pre-processing of large datasets from various sources.
Applying statistical analysis and machine learning techniques to extract actionable insights from data.
Developing and implementing predictive models to solve complex business problems.
Visualizing data and communicating findings effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.




Collaborating with experienced data scientists and data engineers on ongoing projects.
Researching and evaluating new data science tools, techniques, and methodologies.
Documenting processes, methodologies, and results for future reference.

Job Qualifications

To be successful in this internship, candidates should possess the following qualifications:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
Robust foundational understanding of statistical concepts and machine learning & Deep learning algorithms.
Proficiency in at least one programming language commonly used in data science (e.g., Python, R).
Familiarity with data manipulation libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy) and machine learning frameworks (e.g., Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
Basic understanding of SQL for data querying and retrieval.
