URGENT HIRING – CONSULTANT INTENSIVIST

Location: Kolhapur, Maharashtra

Department: Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Position

Consultant Intensivist

Qualification
MD / DNB in General Medicine, Anaesthesiology or an appropriate specialty
Fellowship / qualification in Critical Care Medicine (IDCCM / IFCCM / DrNB Critical Care) preferred
Valid Medical Council Registration

Experience
Experienced candidates preferred
Prior ICU and critical care management experience required

Key Responsibilities
Manage critically ill patients admitted to the ICU.
Assess patient conditions and formulate appropriate treatment plans.
Monitor patients requiring ventilatory and haemodynamic support.
Manage medical emergencies, sepsis, shock and multi-organ dysfunction.
Perform critical care procedures as per qualification and expertise.
Coordinate with consultants, nursing staff and other departments.
Supervise ICU protocols, infection control and patient safety practices.




Conduct clinical rounds and ensure proper documentation.
Communicate with patients' families regarding clinical progress and treatment plans.

Candidate Profile
Solid clinical decision-making and critical care skills.
Experience in ventilator management and emergency stabilization.
Ability to manage complex ICU cases.
Positive communication and multidisciplinary coordination skills.
Professional, ethical and patient-focused approach.
