Key Responsibilities
Teach Biology effectively, ensuring students develop a robust understanding of biological concepts and scientific principles.
Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the prescribed curriculum.
Conduct practical sessions, laboratory experiments, and demonstrations where applicable.
Prepare lesson plans, assignments, worksheets, and examination papers.
Assess student performance, provide constructive feedback, and support academic progress.
Prepare students for examinations through revision sessions, practice questions, and doubt-clearing sessions.
Encourage scientific inquiry, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and assessments.
Ensure laboratory safety and the proper use of scientific equipment and materials.
Collaborate with colleagues and participate in departmental meetings and school activities.

Qualifications and Selection Criteria
MSc in Biology or a relevant biological science discipline is mandatory.




B.Ed qualification is mandatory.
Relevant teaching experience, preferably at the senior secondary level.
Solid subject knowledge and the ability to explain complex biological concepts clearly.
Experience teaching the CBSE curriculum will be an advantage, if applicable.
Knowledge of Biology practicals, laboratory procedures, and safety protocols.
Excellent communication, classroom management, and organizational skills.
Ability to prepare students for board examinations and support diverse learning needs.
Passion for teaching and commitment to students' academic development.
