Role Summary: Serves as the main class teacher for a group of young learners. She is responsible for their academic, emotional and social development in a protected, nurturing workplace.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons in English, Maths, EVS, language and activity-based subjects.
Build foundational literacy, numeracy and motor skills through play and hands-on learning.
Take attendance, manage the classroom and maintain discipline with a caring approach.
Observe and assess each child’s progress,
and keep records and report cards.
Communicate regularly with parents through PTMs, diaries and updates.
Coordinate with subject teachers and the school coordinator.
Organise and take part in school events, assemblies, celebrations and field trips.
Qualifications
Graduate, with NTT/ECCEd, D.El.Ed, B.Ed or equivalent preferred
1+ years of experience in a primary or pre-primary setting (freshers may be considered)
