rainEdge Fine Dining Restaurant is looking for a skilled and disciplined Chef/Cook specialising in No Onion & No Garlic cuisine. The candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality vegetarian dishes while maintaining authentic taste, consistency, presentation, hygiene, and fine-dining standards.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare vegetarian dishes strictly without onion and garlic.
Follow standard recipes, portion sizes and plating specifications.
Prepare Indian, regional and fine-dining vegetarian dishes as required.
Ensure excellent taste, texture, aroma and presentation.
Maintain strict kitchen hygiene, food safety and cleanliness standards.
Handle preparation of gravies, sauces, curries, snacks, breads and other menu items.
Ensure proper storage and handling of vegetables, spices and other ingredients.
Maintain consistency in every dish served to guests.
Coordinate with the restaurant manager and kitchen team regarding daily requirements.
Monitor food quality and minimise wastage.
Maintain cleanliness of cooking equipment, workstations and kitchen areas.
Follow restaurant SOPs and food-safety practices.
Support menu development and introduce new no-onion/no-garlic vegetarian dishes where required.

Candidate Requirements




Previous experience as a Chef/Cook in a restaurant, hotel, fine-dining establishment or specialised vegetarian kitchen.
Robust practical knowledge of No Onion & No Garlic cooking.
Knowledge of Indian vegetarian cuisine is preferred.
Ability to work independently and manage kitchen responsibilities.
Good understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety.
Good sense of taste, seasoning and presentation.
Ability to work under pressure during busy service hours.
Candidates with experience in Jain/Sattvic cuisine will be preferred.
