Key Responsibilities
Plan and anchor prime-time news programmes, interviews, debates, and panel discussions.
Develop engaging programme concepts, discussion topics, and insightful questions on current affairs.
Coordinate with the editorial team and ground reporters for daily coverage and next-day programme planning.
Demonstrate solid knowledge of West Bengal's politics, social issues, culture, and regional geography.
Conduct interviews with prominent political leaders, policymakers, experts, and public personalities.
Build brand visibility, audience trust, and engagement through impactful and credible presentation.
Collaborate with video and social media teams to maximise programme reach across YouTube and other digital platforms.
Maintain editorial integrity, factual accuracy, impartiality,



and professionalism.

Candidate Profile
Excellent command of spoken Bengali and solid on-screen presentation skills.
Relevant experience in television news anchoring, digital journalism, or prime-time programme hosting.
Strong political awareness, analytical thinking, research skills, and editorial judgement.
Established qualified reputation and recognisable presence in Kolkata and West Bengal.
Ability to handle live discussions, challenging interviews, and breaking news confidently.
Understanding of digital video content and audience engagement is preferred.
