Job Summary

We are looking for a Civil Procurement Engineer who will be responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and coordinating the timely availability of civil construction materials while ensuring quality, competitive pricing, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities
Procure civil construction materials as per project requirements and specifications.
Prepare and process Purchase Orders (PO) and Purchase Requisitions (PR).
Coordinate with site, project, stores, and accounts teams for material requirements.
Identify and evaluate suitable suppliers and vendors.
Obtain quotations, compare prices, and negotiate with suppliers.
Ensure materials are procured within approved budgets and timelines.
Coordinate with vendors for order confirmation, dispatch, and delivery.
Follow up on pending and delayed material deliveries.
Verify material specifications, quality, quantity, and required documentation.
Maintain vendor records, quotation comparisons, purchase orders, and procurement reports.
Develop and maintain valuable relationships with suppliers and contractors.




Coordinate with the store team for material receipt and documentation.
Monitor market rates and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and project requirements.

Required Skills
Good knowledge of civil construction materials such as cement, steel, sand, aggregates, bricks/blocks, tiles, pipes, fittings, waterproofing materials, etc.
Robust negotiation and vendor management skills.
Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
Positive communication and coordination skills.
Ability to manage multiple material requirements and deadlines.
Knowledge of purchase orders, quotations, comparative statements, and procurement processes.

Qualification

B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Civil Engineering or relevant qualification.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
