About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Safety Officer to oversee workplace safety across our construction projects. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with statutory regulations, promote a strong safety culture, and safeguard the health and well-being of all employees and contractors.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments.
Implement and monitor safety policies, procedures, and permit-to-work systems.
Organize safety training, toolbox talks, and awareness programs.
Investigate incidents, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with OSHA/NEBOSH/Factories Act and company standards.
Coordinate emergency preparedness drills and first-aid readiness.
Qualifications & Skills:
Degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field.
Certification in NEBOSH/IOSH/OSHA (preferred).
Minimum 5 years of experience in construction/industrial safety.
Strong knowledge of safety regulations and hazard control measures.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Strong Knoeledge of Microsoft Excel , Word & Power point.
