Job Title: Senior Business Analyst – Financial Services

We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst with expertise in financial services processes, customer verification, compliance operations and business requirement management.

Key Responsibilities
Gather and document business requirements from business and technology stakeholders.
Prepare BRDs, FRDs, functional specifications, user stories and acceptance criteria.
Analyze customer onboarding, verification and compliance-related business processes.
Conduct gap analysis, impact analysis and process improvement assessments.
Coordinate with business, technology, risk and operations teams.
Conduct requirement-gathering sessions and stakeholder discussions.
Support UAT planning, execution, defect tracking and business sign-off.
Translate business and regulatory requirements into functional specifications.
Perform data analysis and validation using SQL.
Maintain project documentation using JIRA and Confluence.

Required Skills
6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst.
Solid experience in Banking, Financial Services or FinTech.
Hands-on experience in KYC, AML, CDD,



EDD and customer onboarding processes.
Understanding of customer due diligence and risk assessment.
Strong SQL knowledge, including joins, aggregations and subqueries.
Experience with Excel and Power BI or similar reporting tools.
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Excellent documentation, analytical and stakeholder management skills.
Strong communication and presentation abilities.

Good to Have
Knowledge of RBI and FATF regulatory guidelines.
Exposure to sanctions screening, transaction monitoring and adverse media.
Experience with financial compliance platforms and data integrations.
Knowledge of APIs and data validation.
CBAP, CCBA or equivalent certification.

Education
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, IT or a related discipline.
MBA or relevant skilled certification is an added advantage.
