To ensure the effective implementation of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards at highway construction, operation, and maintenance sites. The Safety Engineer will monitor site activities, identify potential hazards, prevent accidents, ensure statutory compliance, and promote a solid safety culture among employees, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Safety Engineering, or a relevant discipline.

The position is site-based and requires regular field inspections, coordination with project teams,



and monitoring of construction and maintenance activities. The employee must ensure that safety standards are consistently followed across all assigned work areas.

Recommendation: For Reliable’s NHAI highway project, the Safety Engineer’s JD should emphasise road-work-zone traffic safety, contractor compliance, risk assessment, incident prevention, and coordination with Junior Engineers and site supervisors.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
