Maintenance Technician

Experience

1–2 Years in a manufacturing industry

Qualification
ITI (Electrician/Fitter/Mechanic) or Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
Basic knowledge of industrial maintenance and safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities
Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of production machines.
Attend machine breakdowns and restore equipment with minimum downtime.
Inspect machines regularly and identify potential issues before failure.
Repair and replace faulty mechanical and electrical components.
Maintain daily maintenance reports and machine history records.
Ensure proper lubrication and housekeeping of all equipment.
Assist in machine installation, shifting, and commissioning activities.
Coordinate with production to ensure smooth machine operation.
Follow safety standards, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and company maintenance procedures.
Maintain tools, spare parts, and maintenance inventory.

Required Skills
Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
Ability to read maintenance manuals and basic technical drawings.
Valuable troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.




Knowledge of preventive maintenance schedules.
Familiarity with welding, fitting, and hand tools is an added advantage.
Basic computer knowledge for maintenance records.

Conveyor Systems
Mixers and Compounding Machines
Boiler (basic knowledge)
DG Set (basic knowledge)
Utility equipment such as pumps and motors

Preferred Candidate Profile
1–2 years of maintenance experience in a footwear or manufacturing industry.
Willing to work in rotational shifts.
Knowledge of safety practices and preventive maintenance.
Physically fit and capable of working in a factory setting.

Salary

As per company standards and experience.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
