Role Overview

We are looking for a Business Head for a fast-growing consumer technology organization. The role will involve driving business growth, owning key business metrics, and leading strategic initiatives across business operations, growth, and execution.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in the startup ecosystem (ex-consulting), with a solid understanding of scaling consumer-facing businesses, driving cross-functional execution, and building sustainable business models.

Key Responsibilities
Business Leadership: Drive business strategy, growth, and execution, with ownership of key business and financial metrics.
Growth & Scale: Identify new growth opportunities, build expansion strategies, and drive initiatives across customer acquisition, engagement, and retention.
Business Operations: Improve operational efficiency, optimize processes, and drive commercial excellence across the business.
P&L; Ownership: Drive revenue growth, profitability, and unit economics through data-led decision-making.
Cross-functional Leadership: Work closely with Product, Marketing, Sales, Operations,



and Finance teams to deliver business objectives.
Strategic Initiatives: Partner with the leadership team on current initiatives, market expansion, business planning, and long-term growth priorities.
Team Building: Build and lead high-performing teams, establishing transparent goals, accountability, and performance metrics.

Candidate Profile
7–15 years of relevant experience, with meaningful experience in the startup ecosystem, preferably across consumer technology, consumer internet, or digital-first businesses.
Tier-1 Engineering degree and MBA from a premier business school are mandatory.
Experience in business leadership, general management, business operations, growth strategy, or P&L; ownership within a startup environment.
Solid commercial acumen, analytical capabilities, and understanding of business metrics, unit economics, and financial performance.
Demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional initiatives and translate business strategy into measurable outcomes.
