About the role

A global organisation is building a capability centre in India and is hiring a finance leader with two responsibilities. First, lead Record-to-Report services for the organisation's regions. The second is to act as Finance Manager for the centre itself. The role reports to the General Manager of the centre.

Responsibilities
Own the Record-to-Report operating model, including accounting, period close, reconciliations and reporting.
Deliver accurate and timely month-end close for supported regions.
Make sure balance sheet reconciliations are complete, reviewed and free of aged items.
Own the budget, forecasts and management accounts for the centre.
Coordinate statutory reporting, tax compliance, banking and audits with specialists and external advisers.




Lead the transition of activities from the regions to India and drive automation.

About you
Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting, finance or business administration.
12+ years of minimum experience.
A recognised accounting qualification such as CA, CPA or ACCA is preferred.
Leadership experience in Record-to-Report, controllership or financial management.
Experience in a shared services, Global Business Services, captive centre or BPO setting.
Experience managing the finance needs of a legal entity, including planning, statutory coordination, tax support and audit.
Knowledge of IFRS and Indian statutory accounting.
