JOB DESCRIPTION – FIXTURE MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN / Engineer

Position: Fixture Maintenance Technician / Engineer
Qualification: ITI Fitter or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Job Summary

We are looking for enthusiastic and technically skilled freshers to join our maintenance team for fixture maintenance activities. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining, inspecting, repairing, and ensuring the proper functioning of production fixtures and jigs.

Key Responsibilities
Perform routine inspection and maintenance of fixtures, jigs, and tooling.
Assist in identifying and troubleshooting fixture-related problems.
Support fixture repair, adjustment, and modification activities.
Check fixture alignment, clamping, and positioning accuracy.
Assist in preventive maintenance to minimize production downtime.
Read and understand basic mechanical engineering drawings.
Use measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers and micrometers.
Coordinate with production and quality teams to resolve fixture-related issues.




Maintain fixture maintenance records and follow maintenance schedules.
Follow safety procedures and 5S practices in the workplace.

Educational Qualification
ITI in Fitter trade or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
Freshers are welcome to apply.
Basic knowledge of mechanical tools, fitting, and measuring instruments is preferred.

Required Skills
Basic knowledge of mechanical components and fitting operations.
Understanding of mechanical drawings.
Willingness to learn fixture maintenance and troubleshooting.
Good observation and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a team.
Positive attitude and willingness to work in a manufacturing workplace.

Experience

Freshers can apply. Candidates with basic practical knowledge of fitting, machining, or tooling will be preferred.
