Summary
The AWS Application Cloud Engineer - Senior Associate is responsible for designing, deploying, and optimizing application platforms on Amazon Web Services (AWS). This role requires robust hands-on expertise in AWS-native application services, automation, and cloud operational excellence.
The Senior Associate serves as a technical escalation point, leads complex troubleshooting, drives standardization and automation, and partners closely with application development, architecture, and platform teams.

Responsibilities
Lead deployment and operation of cloud-hosted applications on AWS
Design and implement application hosting solutions using:
AWS Elastic Beanstalk
ECS / EKS
Lambda and serverless services
Lead application integration with:
AWS RDS / DynamoDB
S3
Messaging and event-driven services
Design, build, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using AWS DevOps tools (Codepipeline, Codebuild, etc) and third-party tools
Implement monitoring, logging, and ing using CloudWatch and related services




Perform advanced troubleshooting of application performance, scalability, and availability
Define and enforce standards for:
Application configurations
Deployment models
Security and IAM integration
Support application modernization and cloud migration initiatives
Collaborate with Cloud Architects and DevOps teams on solution design
Act as escalation point for production incidents and lead root cause analysis
Mentor Associate-level engineers (as applicable)
Drive automation and continuous improvement initiatives
