Job Purpose:

We are seeking an experienced Manager – Tableau Designer to lead the design, development, and delivery of high-impact dashboards and data visualizations. This role combines hands-on Tableau expertise with people leadership and stakeholder management. The ideal candidate will translate complex data into intuitive insights while mentoring a team of Tableau developers and analysts.

Principal Accountabilities:

Project Management
Design and develop advanced Tableau dashboards, reports, and scorecards
Define visualization standards, UI/UX guidelines, and Tableau best practices
Optimize dashboard performance and data refresh strategies
Ensure dashboards are scalable, reusable, and user-friendly

Business & Stakeholder Engagement
Gather and translate business requirements into effective visual analytics
Present insights and dashboards to business users and senior leadership
Act as a bridge between technical/data teams and business stakeholders
Drive data storytelling and insight-driven decision-making

Data & Governance
Work with data engineers on data models, extracts, and live connections
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance across reports
Implement security, row-level access, and compliance standards





Experience
4–6+ years (with 2–4 years in managerial role)
Banks/NBFC basic data understanding

Technical Skills
Expert-level Tableau Desktop & Tableau Server/Cloud
Robust experience with calculated fields, LOD expressions, parameters
Solid understanding of SQL (joins, CTEs, performance tuning)
Experience with data warehouses (Redshift, Athena, Snowflake etc.)
Knowledge of visualization best practices and UX principles

Managerial & Soft Skills
Proven experience managing BI solution for the organization
Solid communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to prioritize, delegate, and manage multiple projects
Solid problem-solving and analytical thinking

Banking Domain Expertise
Strong understanding of:

Experience working with high-volume, sensitive financial data
