Role Description The Machinist role is a full time, on-site position based at the company’s facility in Coimbatore. Day-to-day responsibilities include setting up and operating machining equipment such as CNC and conventional machines to produce precision parts according to drawings and specifications. The Machinist will interpret engineering blueprints, select appropriate tools and materials, monitor machine operations, and make adjustments to maintain accuracy and productivity. The role also involves inspecting finished components, recording measurements,



and following established quality and safety procedures. Collaboration with supervisors and colleagues to troubleshoot issues, support production schedules, and maintain a clean, organized workspace is expected.

Qualifications
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, engineering sketches, and machining process sheets.
Hands-on experience setting up and operating CNC or conventional milling, turning, or drilling machines.
Robust skills in using measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection tools.
Knowledge of basic machine maintenance, tooling selection, and protected operating practices on the shop floor.
Attention to detail with a focus on dimensional accuracy, surface finish, and meeting quality standards.
Willingness to follow safety rules, wear required protective equipment, and maintain a tidy work area.
Ability to work collaboratively with production teams, communicate clearly, and follow supervisor instructions.
Relevant technical qualification (e.g., ITI, diploma in mechanical or machining trade) and prior experience in a machining or manufacturing environment are preferred.
