Job Description: Dealer – Bond Sourcing & Trade Execution

Location: Mumbai (WFO)

Reporting to: Head of Fixed Income

Role Overview

We are seeking an energetic, market-savvy Analyst to drive our bond sourcing, trade execution, and relationship management support. This role bridges the gap between active market trading and internal wealth/relationship management.

The ideal candidate will have a solid pulse on the Indian fixed-income markets, a robust broker network, and the technical capability to manage trade math, prepare client-facing investment universes, and conduct initial issuer diligence.

Key Responsibilities
Sourcing & Trade Execution
Bond Sourcing: Proactively source bonds via established broker networks and institutional counters to meet specific client mandates and fund requirements
Trade Math & Planning: Prepare accurate yield/price calculators and execution plans for bond trades
Revenue Mapping: Help Relationship Managers (RMs) clearly understand the revenue margins and commercial structures of proposed trades
Market Intelligence & RM Support
Inventory Management: Compile and distribute the Available for Sale (AFS)



bond list twice a week to keep RMs updated on the investable universe and provide clean, shareable formats for clients
Sales Enablement: Provide RMs and clients with timely market views, investment recommendations, and issuer analysis to help secure client mandates
Collateral Creation: Author key internal publications, including the Fixed Income Strategy Deck, Debt Market Review, and Treasury Pitch Books

Candidate Profile

Education & Experience
Education: Graduate in Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) or an MBA from a Tier-2 business school
Experience: 2 to 5 years of relevant, hands-on experience in the Indian debt markets
Target Background: Direct exposure working on DCM desks or with prominent debt brokers/arrangers

Technical Skills & Competencies
Broker Network: An active, existing network within the Indian debt broker ecosystem for quick sourcing and pricing discovery
Analytical Skills: Robust proficiency with MS Excel for building bond calculators (YTM, YTC, accrued interest, and clean/dirty price calculations)
Communication: Ability to distill complex market movements into crisp, actionable points for RMs and corporate treasury clients
