Job Title: Internal Auditor

Department: Audit & Assurance

Experience: 1–3 Years (preferably)

Qualification: CA Inter / B.Com / M.Com / Semi-qualified CA

Reporting To: Internal Audit Manager / Partner

Job Responsibilities
Conduct internal audits of accounting, finance, procurement, sales, inventory, and other operational processes.
Verify purchase invoices, sales invoices, expense vouchers, bank transactions, and journal entries.
Review GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance from an internal control perspective.
Check vendor payments, customer outstanding balances, bank reconciliations, and ledger balances.
Verify inventory records, stock movements, and physical stock reports, wherever applicable.
Identify financial discrepancies, process gaps, control weaknesses, and potential risks.
Prepare audit working papers, observation reports, and recommendations for corrective action.
Follow up with the concerned departments to ensure timely closure of audit observations.
Perform compliance checks against company policies, SOPs, and applicable laws.




Prepare periodic internal audit reports and maintain proper audit documentation.

Required Skills
Positive knowledge of accounting principles and internal audit procedures.
Working knowledge of Tally Prime and MS Excel.
Basic understanding of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
Solid analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
Ability to identify discrepancies and suggest practical corrective measures.
Willingness to visit client offices and conduct process audits, where required.

Timely completion of assigned audits.
Accuracy and quality of audit working papers.
Identification of material discrepancies and control weaknesses.
Timely submission of audit reports.
Effective follow-up and closure of audit observations.

Job Objective: To strengthen internal controls, improve operational efficiency, ensure compliance, and minimise financial and operational risks through systematic internal audits.
