Roles & Responsibilities
Handle end-to-end Accounts Payable (AP) activities, including vendor invoice processing, verification, accounting and payment coordination.
Perform vendor reconciliation, resolve invoice/payment discrepancies and monitor outstanding vendor balances.
Ensure correct accounting of purchase invoices, debit/credit notes, advances and expenses.
Manage Fixed Asset Accounting, including capitalization, asset creation, transfers, disposals and retirement of assets.
Maintain the Fixed Asset Register (FAR) and ensure proper asset classification and documentation.




Calculate and account for depreciation as per applicable accounting standards and company policies.
Handle CWIP (Capital Work-in-Progress) accounting and timely capitalization of completed projects/assets.
Support periodic physical verification of fixed assets and reconcile physical assets with the books/FAR.
Perform month-end and year-end closing activities related to AP and fixed assets.
Prepare AP ageing, fixed asset schedules, reconciliations and MIS reports.
Ensure proper GL reconciliation for vendor, AP, fixed asset, depreciation and related accounts.
