Role Description This is a full-time, in office Driver role based in Bengaluru. The Driver will be responsible for safely operating trucks to transport goods and materials according to scheduled routes and delivery timelines. Day-to-day tasks include conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, ensuring proper loading and securing of cargo, following traffic and safety regulations, and maintaining cleanliness and basic upkeep of the vehicle. The role also involves completing delivery documentation, communicating with dispatch and supervisors, and interacting professionally with clients or delivery recipients.



The Driver is expected to follow company policies, support efficient logistics operations, and report any incidents, delays, or equipment issues promptly.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess solid truck driving skills, including experience handling commercial trucks safely and efficiently.
Candidates should possess a valid CDL Class A (or equivalent heavy vehicle license) and a clean driving record.
Candidates should possess effective communication skills to coordinate with dispatch, team members, and clients.
Candidates should possess customer service skills to ensure skilled, courteous interactions during pickups and deliveries.
Ability to read and follow maps or GPS, plan routes, and manage time to meet delivery schedules.
Physical ability to sit for extended periods, handle loading/unloading assistance when required, and work in varied weather conditions.
Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and safety checks to identify and report potential issues.
Previous experience as a commercial driver or in logistics/transportation is preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent education is beneficial.
Commitment to safety, reliability, and adherence to company and regulatory standards.
