This Is It, a beachfront restaurant and stay in Arambol, Goa, is looking for a skilled and passionate Cook / Senior Chef with experience in Indian, Chinese and Continental cuisine. The ideal candidate should be capable of preparing quality dishes, maintaining consistency in taste and presentation, and managing kitchen operations efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook Indian, Chinese and Continental dishes as per the menu.
Maintain consistency in taste, quality, portion sizes and presentation.
Manage daily kitchen operations and ensure timely food service.
Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards.
Monitor kitchen inventory, ingredient usage, and food wastage.
Coordinate with kitchen helpers and other team members.
Ensure proper storage, labelling and handling of ingredients.
Assist in menu planning, food preparation and maintaining standard recipes.




Follow kitchen opening, closing and cleaning procedures.

Requirements:
Previous experience as a Cook, Senior Cook, Chef or Senior Chef in a restaurant or hotel.
Good knowledge of Indian, Chinese and Continental cuisine
Ability to handle kitchen operations during busy service hours.
Knowledge of food hygiene, kitchen safety and ingredient management.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsible, disciplined and committed to maintaining food quality.
