Responsibilities
Buy against the weekly production plan.
Raw materials: oils, spices, chillies, vinegar, sugar, fresh produce.
Packaging: glass jars, PET bottles, caps, labels, cartons.
Raise purchase orders, with three quotes for larger orders.
Onboard and assess vendors.
Collect each vendor's FSSAI licence, COA and specs.
Receive goods: check quantity, batch, expiry and quality against the PO, and record the GRN the same day.
Run the stores: Issue material on FIFO/FEFO.
Keep the stock register current.
Do weekly and monthly physical counts.
Set reorder levels, and track lead times and vendor performance.
