Role & responsibilities
Manage fleet utilisation, vehicle availability, and reduction of downtime.
Oversee route planning, load planning, and fleet maintenance.
Monitor operational costs, budgets, fuel consumption, and fleet performance.
Ensure safety standards, regulatory compliance, and effective driver management.
Manage fleet management systems, telematics, and data-driven decision-making.
Coordinate with customers, transporters, brokers, and internal stakeholders.
Maintain solid knowledge of the transport broker market, freight rates, and seasonal demand and supply trends across India.
Drive efficient and profitable transport operations, managing a minimum of 6,000 placements annually.

Preferred candidate profile




10+ years of experience in transport, logistics, or fleet operations.
Solid understanding of the transport broker market and pan-India logistics operations.
Knowledge of vehicle specifications, load capacity, Full Truckload (FTL) and Partial Truckload (PTL) pricing.
Expertise in fuel management, load optimisation, and route-level profitability.
Experience with telematics, fleet tracking systems, and demand and supply forecasting.
Robust negotiation, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
