About Amadora

Amadora is a growing food and beverage business with ambitious expansion plans. We aim to expand to 50 franchise outlets across South India within the next year.

We are looking for an experienced Supply Chain skilled who can manage procurement, vendor relationships, inventory and distribution while building efficient processes to support our growing business.

Role Purpose

The Supply Chain Manager will ensure that the right materials are available at the right time, in the right quantity and at the right cost.

The role requires hands-on experience in the food or restaurant industry, strong vendor management skills, effective cost control and the ability to establish systems that can support multiple outlets and franchise expansion.

Key Responsibilities

1. Procurement and Vendor Management

- Identify and onboard reliable suppliers for food ingredients, packaging materials and other operational requirements.
- Negotiate purchase prices, payment terms and delivery schedules.
- Build and maintain a network of approved vendors.
- Compare quotations and identify opportunities to reduce procurement costs.
- Ensure timely procurement without compromising product quality.

2. Inventory and Stock Management

- Monitor stock levels and ensure the availability of essential ingredients and packaging materials.
- Establish minimum stock levels and reorder points.
- Track stock movement, consumption, expiry and wastage.
- Implement FIFO/FEFO practices wherever applicable.
- Conduct regular stock audits and resolve discrepancies.
- Coordinate with outlet teams to avoid stock-outs and overstocking.

3. Demand Planning and Supply Coordination

- Plan purchases based on sales trends, consumption and business requirements.
- Coordinate with Operations, QC, Finance and other relevant teams.
- Ensure timely supply of materials to existing outlets.
- Prepare material requirements for new outlet openings and franchise launches.
- Develop standard ordering and replenishment processes.

4. Logistics and Distribution





- Coordinate deliveries from suppliers or central storage locations to outlets.
- Plan delivery schedules and monitor on-time delivery.
- Track transportation costs, delivery shortages and damages.
- Identify practical ways to improve distribution efficiency.
- Support the development of a scalable supply network for South India.

5. Cost Control and MIS Reporting

- Prepare regular reports on procurement costs, inventory, wastage and supplier performance.
- Track purchase price variations and highlight cost-saving opportunities.
- Monitor material consumption and investigate unusual variations.
- Maintain accurate purchase orders, goods receipt records, invoices and stock transfer documentation.
- Share periodic supply chain updates and MIS reports with management.

6. Process Development

- Develop SOPs for procurement, vendor onboarding, inventory control and material dispatch.
- Establish clear purchase approval and documentation processes.
- Maintain vendor databases, price lists and procurement records.
- Use Excel and inventory or ERP software to improve tracking and reporting.
- Identify gaps in current processes and implement practical solutions.

7. Quality and Food Safety Coordination

- Coordinate with the QC team to ensure that purchased materials meet approved quality standards.
- Check supplier documentation, product specifications and shelf-life requirements.
- Ensure appropriate storage and handling of food ingredients.
- Coordinate with QC and Operations to resolve supplier quality issues.
- Support applicable food safety and traceability requirements.

Required Qualifications and Experience

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Commerce or a related field.




- 4–6 years of relevant experience in supply chain, procurement or materials management.
- Prior experience in a QSR, restaurant chain, café, bakery, ice cream business, food retail or food manufacturing company.
- Hands-on experience in food ingredient sourcing, packaging procurement, inventory management and vendor negotiations.
- Experience supporting multiple outlets, central kitchens, warehouses or distribution points.
- Good Excel, MIS reporting and analytical skills.
- Experience with ERP, inventory management or restaurant management software.
- Strong negotiation, coordination and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Preference will be given to candidates who have worked with organised QSR, restaurant, café, bakery or food-service brands, including McDonald's, KFC, Burger King, Domino's, Pizza Hut, Starbucks, Café Coffee Day, Third Wave Coffee or comparable businesses.

Candidates from regional food chains and established bakery or ice cream businesses are also encouraged to apply.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Performance will be measured on:

- Procurement cost savings and price control.
- Availability of materials and reduction in stock-outs.
- Inventory accuracy and reduction in expiry and wastage.
- Supplier delivery performance.
- Accuracy of purchase planning and replenishment.
- Compliance with procurement and inventory SOPs.
- Quality of MIS reporting and documentation.
- Readiness of supply chain operations for new outlet openings.

We need a practical, result-oriented professional who understands the operational requirements of a food business.

The ideal candidate must be comfortable handling day-to-day procurement while also building processes, improving vendor performance, controlling costs and supporting Amadora's growth.

Candidates should be able to demonstrate their experience with food-industry suppliers, inventory management, cost savings and multi-outlet operations.

Compensation: Up to ₹10 LPA, depending on relevant experience and suitability.

Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
