Job Summary

Look for a skilled Diamond & Polki Grader to assess, grade and inspect diamonds and Polki jewellery/stones based on quality, authenticity and applicable grading parameters. The candidate should have good knowledge of diamond characteristics, Polki stones and jewellery quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Grade and evaluate diamonds based on 4Cs – Cut, Colour, Clarity and Carat Weight.
- Inspect diamonds for inclusions, blemishes, symmetry, proportions and overall quality.
- Evaluate Polki diamonds/stones based on colour, clarity, shape, size, cut and overall appearance.
- Identify natural, treated and potentially synthetic/lab-grown stones as per company standards.
- Check stones and jewellery pieces for quality, consistency and defects.
- Measure and record stone specifications accurately.
- Maintain grading reports, inspection records and quality documentation.
- Coordinate with jewellery production, manufacturing, purchase and quality teams.




- Ensure grading is consistent with company quality standards and customer requirements.
- Handle diamonds and Polki carefully while maintaining proper security and accountability.
- Support quality control and final inspection of finished jewellery.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of diamond grading and identification.
- Good understanding of Polki diamonds and traditional Polki jewellery.
- Knowledge of diamond shapes, cuts, colours, clarity grades and treatments.
- Good observation and analytical skills.
- Ability to identify differences in stone quality and characteristics.
- Good knowledge of jewellery terminology.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer knowledge for maintaining grading records.
- Positive communication and coordination skills.

Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
